A man is born gentle and weak; at his death he is hard and stiff. All things, including the grass and trees, are soft and pliable in life; dry and brittle in death.

Stiffness is thus a companion of death; flexibility a companion of life....
A tree that cannot bend will crack in the wind.

The hard and stiff will be broken; the soft and supple will prevail.

HOT YOGA & ROOM TEMPERATURE

During our Hot classes we try to maintain the room temperature at 88˚ or above.  However, the temperature will fluctuate due to the age and condition of the building.  When it's hot outside, it will be hotter inside, when it's cool outside, it will be cooler inside.

With cooler weather approaching, it will become increasingly difficult to keep the studio heated to 88˚.  We encourage our students to consider room temperature variances as a reminder that Yoga is more than just the physical practice.
